How does Homeschool Genius Lab customize its curriculum for each child?
Our team assesses each child's learning style, multiple intelligence profile , academic strengths and then matches them with their level to make sure the curriculum is compliant depending on where the family resides. It even allows students to choose topics of interest, and parents to prioritize values and skills they want their children to develop.
Are the educational materials provided by Homeschool Genius Lab accredited?
Yes, all our educational programs and curricula are compliant with national educational standards and meet state-specific accreditation criteria. We can also provide official transcripts which are valid across the world and at college and university level.
Can parents get involved in the teaching process
Yes, we encourage parental involvement because it is has been proven to have a significant positive impact on the child's development. However, we can also provide tutor hours at a $45/h fee for parents who prefer to delegate this task.
How many hours per week does it take to homeschool using this curriculum?
Typically it can take between 5-10 hours per week. However we can make the program more rigorous if it fits within the family's lifestyle.
What does Project-Based Learning mean?
PBL is particularly used in prestigious private schools such as Waldorf, Montessori, IB, Cambridge. The reason we follow this methodology is, experiential learning and project-based learning, has been proven to increase retention of concepts, engagement in students and improved student outcomes; such as critical thinking, creativity, and executive function skills.
